BSD staff members attended the MTSS Conference this week at Washington State University to learn more about instructional leadership and how to better support student learning, continuing to be lifelong learners and positive examples for our students and families.
Unidos Nueva Alianza Foundation has handed out all of their supplies. Please remember to join us at the Bridgeport Elementary School gym on August 22nd for our Back to School/Resource fair where supplies will be given from 4:00-7:00pm. 😊

The regularly scheduled School District Board Meeting in June has been changed to, Saturday June 29th at 6:00 PM in the Bridgeport Middle School Commons located at 1300 Douglas Ave Bridgeport, WA 98813
REMINDER- School is closed tomorrow, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth. Summer school classes will resume Thursday, June 20th.
Summer Choice Boards are back for grades K-5! Students received the first choice board on Friday, June 14th. When you turn in your completed summer choice board, you will receive a free pool pass! All turned-in and completed choice boards will also receive an entry into the drawing for special BONUS prizes. These will be awarded on the first day of school on Tuesday, August 27th. Choice boards must be turned in between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM on the dates listed at the Elementary Cafeteria.
Ages 18 and under can enjoy free meals Monday-Friday at the Bridgeport Elementary Cafeteria!

REMINDER - High School Graduation is Friday, June 7th at 5:00 pm.
The 5th graders went to a field trip in Winthrop yesterday. They had a great time visiting the North Cascades Smokejumper Base and learned about what it takes to become a smoke jumper and fight wildfires.

The Middle School Hi-Cap program had an exceptional year! Our students engaged with a variety of challenging books, each selecting one to summarize and present to the district and staff through a slideshow or poster. To conclude the successful Hi-Cap year, we embarked on a field trip to Leavenworth. The students enjoyed a tour of a candy-making factory in Cashmere, followed by visits to the Nutcracker Museum and a local bookstore in Leavenworth. It was a memorable day for everyone involved.
